Hair Transplant History – A look back
Did you know that the first documented treatments that gave birth to modern hair transplant techniques were born in the 1930�s? Yes, they have been around for quite sometime but they were rather used to repair hair loss due to injury and the events of the Second World War which had people disfigured loosing hair from their scalp due to injuries and burns brought about the current trends in hair treatment. It was only then that the said procedures were done to treat baldness for many veterans suffered burns that killed off their normal hair. Now we even have transplant treatments for body and unsightly hair which addresses more of the cosmetic rather than aesthetic needs of people.
