As long as man learned to use materials such as plant matter to cover their ever balding heads, man has been after a solution to the age related balding process. Wigs have been worn since the early days of recorded history when the Egyptians and many other cultures used hair from animals namely horses and camels and real human hair from donors to make extravagant real looking head applications to hide their aged looks.
