More Hairloss after Restoration Surgery

This is a common occurrence better known as post-operative shock loss wherein hair seems to thin due to stress of the scalp with newly done hair restoration implants/surgery. This may persist for a month or two but will soon start to recover allowing hair to regrow to it’s former glory. This may also be a sign of further problems which should be discussed further with your doctor to prevent more loss so be aware.

Many hair doctors recommend the use of hair loss concealers to alleviate the appearance of more hair lost but generally, the condition is temporary and depending on your scalp’s health recovery can vary. Be sure to remember further consultations with your doctor so any underlying causes can be eliminated or more treatment may be prescribed to prevent more loss than gain.
