Inner Ear Hair Being Studied for more Visible Use

earhairThe inner ear has millions of tiny hairs that allows us to sense vibrations interpreted as hearing by the brain. Scientists have been able to succeed in growing the said tiny hairs and may soon be able to do the same with the hair on your scalp which in Caucasians is known to affect 7 in 10 adults in their middle ages. There are even genetic abnormalities that leads to premature graying of the hair follicles but it seems that it is more of a color issue rather than a sign of hair loss.
People from both genders are becoming more and more conscious of the scalp scourge and it continues to get people on some unproven treatments. From the colored hair spray’s of days past, to new and improved medication, of which only two or three from the whole lot have been found to be effective against the loss of hair on your scalp. It may be sometime before we can surely get a definite answer to the hair loss scourge, how we can stand out thinning scalps may be more of a psychological issue than one of vanity. Let us hope the new genetic studies can present us with better treatments in the never ending battle to keep a full scalp!
