Neosil’s NEOSH101
As of last year, the results of Phase 2A clinical trials are promising as the drug called NEOSH101, that has indeed shown increased hair growth from once a day applications. The clinical study was conducted in Germany, with 50 participants suffering from androgentic alopecia. The participants received either a placebo (for control) or once a day topical applications of the new drug for a period of 14 days after which a one month drug free interval is started to evaluate the amount of hair growth. The promising results has the company moving to continue to Phase 2B testing which would have longer testing periods and daily applications. The firm is quite excited of the news and cannot wait to get approval from the US FDA.
