Follicular Cell Implantation has been in the works for quite sometime and is promised to be the end of hair loss for the millions of sufferers worldwide. The process requires a single extraction process which takes genetic and cell information from the donor area to allow scientists to make exact copies of the healthy cells. This therapy though termed as cloning is different form cloning whole animals or plants for it only involves the replication of similar cells that are strictly designed to make hair. Many hurdles still remain but studies are ongoing and people are hard at work to perfect the process of cloning whole scalp full of hairs ending the painful surgical treatments that are common now.
